1) Order Processing
- Orders are usually processed within 1–3 business days after payment is captured.
- Weekend/holiday orders ship next business day.
- During high volume or operational disruptions, processing may extend to 5 business days (we’ll email you if so).
GST Invoice: A tax invoice will be issued for every shipment in compliance with CGST Rules, 2017. If e-invoicing applies to us under current GST thresholds, we’ll generate an e-invoice (IRN/QR) accordingly.
2) Delivery Options & Timelines
Domestic (India):
- Standard Surface: 3–7 business days post-dispatch (metro lanes).
- Remote/ODA pin codes: 5–10 business days post-dispatch.
- Expedited Air: Offered on eligible SKUs/regions.
International:
- Tracked Post/Express: We accept orders from people of other countries who wish to get our products delivered anywhere in India. Currently, we are not shipping outside India
Timelines are estimates from our courier partners and can vary due to weather, strikes, operational constraints, or customs inspections.
3) Shipping Fees
- Exact shipping charges are shown at checkout based on destination, weight/volumetric weight and service chosen.
- Free Standard Shipping on domestic orders (India only).
- Expedited and international options are charged at actuals.
4) Cash on Delivery (COD)
- COD is Not Available.
5) Address Accuracy & Delivery Attempts
- Please ensure name, phone, and address (with landmark & pin code) are accurate.
- If a parcel returns due to incorrect details or repeated non-availability, re-shipping charges may apply.
6) Tracking
- You’ll receive a dispatch email/SMS with the tracking link once your order ships.
- Tracking may take up to 24 hours to reflect the first scan.
7) Dangerous Goods (Perfume) & Service Limits
Our products may be alcohol-based (Class 3 – flammable liquids). Couriers and postal operators treat such items as Dangerous Goods (DG). Because of this:
- Certain SKUs may ship by ground/surface only within India; air-express may be unavailable or limited.
- Postal networks and some couriers restrict or prohibit flammable liquids (including perfume) for air carriage. We comply with these restrictions.
- For international air, only permitted “limited quantities” with compliant packaging may be accepted by carriers; route-level acceptance varies. We ship internationally only when compliant routes are available.
If an item in your cart is DG-restricted for your route, we’ll auto-limit the shipping methods at checkout or contact you to switch to an eligible service.
8) International Duties & Taxes
- Customs duties, VAT/GST, brokerage, and import fees (if any) are payable by the recipient on arrival and vary by country.
- We cannot under-declare or mark orders as “gifts.”
- Delivery timelines exclude customs clearance time.
9) Undeliverable, Lost, or Stolen Parcels
- If tracking shows “Delivered” but you haven’t received it, please check with neighbours/security and your local delivery hub first.
- Report issues to thehouseoferaya9@gmail.com within 48 hours of the delivery scan so we can investigate with the carrier.
- Parcels marked “delivered” by the carrier are not covered for theft after delivery; we’ll still support with best-effort investigations.
10) Damages & Shortages
- If your order arrives damaged:
- Photograph the outer box, inner packaging, and product.
- Email thehouseoferaya9@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery, including your order number and photos.
- Keep all packaging until the claim is closed.
11) Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations
- See our Returns & Refunds Policy for eligibility, timelines, and conditions.
- Orders can be cancelled or edited only before dispatch. After dispatch, changes may require an RTO and re-ship (fees may apply).
12) Compliance Notices (India)
- Grievance Redressal (E-commerce Rules, 2020): We acknowledge consumer complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 1 month from receipt.
- Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities): Required declarations (MRP, quantity, manufacturer/packer/importer details, etc.) are displayed on the product package and, where applicable, on the product page.

13) Restricted Addresses & Open-Box
- We may be unable to deliver to PO Boxes, APO/FPO, army cantonments, high-security zones, or locations restricted by carriers.
- Open-box delivery is currently not supported; please record an unboxing if you’re concerned about damage claims.
